I had one done at 10 weeks and didn't have any problems, no bleeding or anything. Honestly though I would go with whatever you are most comfortable with doing.

It seems to be the normal procedure and police here.. should I be worried. HAs anyone experienced this? Apparently there are no risks apart from causing a little bit of bleeding.

Any comments would be great.

I had to get a Pap Smear and Cevical Exam at 8 wks because I haven't had a Pap in the last year...She said I may bleed and I said I better not so be as careful as possible...I didn't bleed or spot after she was quick and extra gentle...Everything will be ok for you too..make her use the lil metal clamps...good luck

I guess it differs by country. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea cannot be tested by bloodwork.
