Had a freak about this Fri-Sun. See me 'sudden fear of m/c' thread and my pg journal.

Thankfully it seems to have stopped and a digi gave me a 'pregnant' result an hour or so ago xx

Spotting can be a normal occurence in some pregnancies, but it's always better to get it checked out - if only for your peace of mind! If it's accompanied by tummy cramps, go straight to the epau (early pregnancy assessment unit), or A and E where you can get a scan to check bubs is ok. How many weeks are you?

My best friend had spotting throughout her 1st trimester, which was such a worry to her, but she had a happy and healthy baby after 9 months! She had a small clot that was slowly breaking down.

Sometimes the spotting is attributed to 'implantation' where the embryo is snuggling down deep into the lining of your womb!

Hope it settles down for you, just so you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

No thank god. Apparently it's quite common though so don't worry. I'd go into major paranoia worry if I bled.

Relax and enjoy is going to be tough for me!

It's taken 5.5 years, several IVF cycles, and a failed international adoption to get to this point!

I'm trying hard to be calm and accept fate. But I'm a bundle of nerves!!

I can understand the anxiety, you've really been through it to get to this stage!!! I've had a m/c before and am at risk of pre term labour now, so I can relate to the not being able to relax bit hun! It's like, you get a temporary re-assurance.... then straight back to the worry! Mind you, I don't suppose that will end even when our bub's are here!!!!!!!! I also have a tendency towards being a worrier as well - hurrah!

I just try and stay as positive as I can, and try a few positive affirmations and visualisations, like me imagining holding my baby after giving birth.... settling baby after coming home..... Just trying to tell my body that this WILL happen.

Everything counts I guess!!

Wishing you lots of sticky bean vibes!!!!

Yes I spot quite a lot. Been spotting and heavier bleeding since 6 weeks (am now 9+1) and have had 4 scans - just one of those things.
