I have suffered from travel sickness. I went on a plane a couple of weeks ago... I noticed that having a bottle of water to sip was handy and something to nibble... like crisps or something. Even in the car I always make sure I have a bottle of water and just sipping it seems to ease it slightly.

I hope it's not too bad for you.

Oh yes I suffered with horrible travel sickness in my first trimester (which is unusual for me because I never get sick on moving vehicles). Saltine crackers seemed to help me somewhat and 7 up.

Hope you feel better soon

coke for me, sickness bands, vicks vapour rub (wierd I know but the smell is so fresh and cool that it helped me with the sickness - also if there were some smells around I couldn't stomach), take a puzzle book - doing something that requires concentration can sometimes distract you from feeling ill.

Oh yes, and I'd take a plastic bag....... just in case. I had one stashed away in my handbag. I was never physically sick, but I found I wasn't under as much pressure thinking "crap, where am I going to be sick if I am"!!!
