Is Spicy Food Bad?

I really hope not, coz right now, it seems to be the only thing that I can keep down successfully. Yesterday I tried some african food for the first time and that stuff nearly blew my head off!!! But I absolutely loved it!!! We had some left overs, so the chilli sauce was put on my beans on toast this morning - absolute bliss!!! I'm just wondering though, will too much spicy food affect things?

I have still been eating spicy food, I love it. The only thing I would say is my stomach has been extra windy when eating too much chilli etc, but I dont think there is any reasons not to eat it!

I have also been eating alot of spicy food, and my midwife said it is ok, the only problem is indigestion, but I haven't had that really so I am still eating it.

my understanding is that it is okay to eat but gives a lot of pregnant ladies the dreaded indigestion! i love a good curry but cannot have one due to getting the most crippling indigestion after it. Guess what i am having after beanie is born????

The only thing that is wrong with spicy food is that you are more likely to get heart burn and indigestion. I eat it all the time though, the only thing it does is make the baby move around a lot, it doesn't give me indigestion or anything at all.
