I'm Currently Feeling: | Sudden overwhelming fear of m/c Girls, what has happened to me? I'm quite a positive person, and although I know there is a 10% chance of m/c I've been really positive about the pregnancy. But tonight I went to the loo and I thought I seen the tiniest bit of discolouration on the tp. It was tiny, and the light in my loo isn't great so it may not have been.
But my cramps have been really different tonight too, very strong, mainly on the right (usually its the left) but my back is hurting too. I sat and cried earlier cos if Applepip isn't destined to be I really want his dad to be back here before he goes (he's due home on Wed)
Why, why, why have I turned into a stupid irrational girl worrying over something that probably wasn't even there???
And how do I get my positive, logical self back? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I dont think you are being irrational at all. I think you are just demonstrating the protective qualities that any mum should have. Because the child is not born yet it doesnt make him / her any less real or any less yours.
And I think you are wise to pay attention to your body and to look for things. Sometimes we see what we want to see and sometimes we see what we fear the most. Its the nature of being human, and its the nature of being in the situation you are. |

You really have put this very nicely and made me feel not only less irrational, but actually slightly positive about my reaction. |

| I have the same fear, I'm nearly 13 weeks. Now I fear premature labour again and I'll feel like this until 24 weeks...it really does take the fun out of it | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | It's quite normal hun. In my 1st tri, I worried so much I made myself ill. I was irrational for weeks and felt physically sick at the thought of loosing the baby. It does get better. Although you still worry, the sharp anxiety wears off.
I hope you feel better soon babes x x |
