Bump at 5 weeks?

Ok - I am about 5 weeks PG, but I have a definitive bump. I have been poking and prodding for a few days in curiosity and the only explanation I can come up with is it's a bump! Is this possible at 5 weeks?

My belly has gone solid and it's started sticking out from above my belly button - it is definately not fat. I thought at first it could have been wind or some other weird bodily function but it has stayed the same now for 2 days or more.

Has anyone else had this?

It's probably mostly caused by bloating which is really common in early pregnancy. I had it too. It will probably stay like that and just keep growing but the 'bloated' area will become filled with baby eventually. Right now though your uterus will still be tucked right down in your pelvis.

At that stage its probably 99% bloat hun, watch in a few weeks it'll all of a sudden get smaller and then bigger again lol.
