hi, i hope someone can help me. I recently pound out i was pregnant and am over the moon. I went for my first ultrasound today as they referred me due to me being unsure of dates. I came off the pill at the end of april and had my last period about the 28th april, it lasted a day or so. I did a test about 3 weeks ago after being a few days late and they were all positive.

My last period was i think 6weeks 5 days. They did a transvaginal scan, the woman was looking at the screen for ages and then asked if i had any pain or bleeding, iv had none. They gave me a letter to take down to gyny... i went down there handed them the letter which stated i was 6 weeks 5 days gestational, yolk sak was visible and there were some measurements i think, it said they no fetal pole. It said eptopic cant be rule out... i was panicing.
When i handed it to gyny they read the letter and asked if id been given another scan i said yeah 2 weeks...they said thats fine just come back then.. i said is everything ok, she said yeah the yolk sac is in the right place.

Im really upset and worried something bad has or is going to happen? Is it bad the fetal pole not being seen?

This happened to me huni. Dont worry everything will be fine i waited 2 weeks and when i went back i saw LO with a strong heartbeat and everything. So nah its not bad at all the fteal pole hasnt been seen. When you go for your next scan you will see your LO and then you will be on xx.

i came out in tears... i even called nhs direct to get some kind of reassurance. I go back in 2 weeks, im still nervous though xx
