I need a lift!

I have never been one to go to the salon and get my hair done. Normally my girlfriends and I will get together and dye eachothers hair and do nails and all that crap. I really want to go all out and get some highlights and maybe a dye job but I've heard mixed reviews on how safe it is. Have any of you ladies gone to the salon?

I got my full head of hair dyed 3 weeks ago and all was fine. But I do think the danger is hormones and how the hair can turn out when being dyed.

I had my hair done a few days ago actually. My hd told me previously it was safe but she asked the salon owner aswell and she gave the same answer. Basically tohey told me that hair dye is fine as long as it's not bleach and as long as it didn't touch your scalp. So i had 10 foil highlights, made me feel so much brighter!!

I've heard mixed reviews so never had it done. But according to the info my OB gave me it is perfectly safe.

I want some highlights done, and posted a thread, the majority of replies said it was ok, and that the had had it all done! I asked my MW and she said it was safe so i'm now gonna wait til i reach my 2nd Tri and then have a few foils to brighten me up

I seriously need to dye my hair as the grays are starting to really pop out at my temples now. How did I get this old? I usually do it myself at home. Wish I woul have done it b4 finding out I was preggo. Is it better to wait till 2nd tri?
