Red face

Some advice pls!

Hi Im sure alot of people ask the same question so i apologise in advance!

Im not sure whether Im pregnant -15 days ago my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 2 weeks after my last period.

The first week after I had cramping in my stomach and felt like my period was due. I also felt dizzy and tired. The cramping has now settled down but I am now getting mild pains in my stomach and a funny fluttery feeling like something is moving or being pulled! I am also so so bloated since the mild pains started.

I have irregular periods so am not really sure when to test and was wondering how early doctors can test. Do you think I could be pregnant or not?

What you have described COULD be pregnancy symptoms, but....it could also be other things. My OH got symptoms very early - she had exactly what you have described plus nausea even before her period would have been due - she was just completey flat out on her back for 5 days at first.

Best advice I can give you is wait until when you think your period is due then test. The nearer you are to your period the more accurate the over the counter tests are. The doc is unlikely to test (but may do) as the ones from the shops are so accurate now.

Agree with spellbound. Pregnancy symptoms closely mimic AF type symptoms, and they show up at different times for everyone (and some people don't get any symptoms at all). The best thing you can do is wait until you think you are late for AF and retest. Good luck, I hope you get the results you are looking for.

Hi,

If you've missed a period a home pregnancy test should be acurate now so I'd do one so you know one way or the other. That way you can get yourself off to the drs asap if it's positive.

Oh it sounds like you missed one already. I'd test in that case. You can always retest in 5 days or so if you want to be sure.

I agree with the others.

Plus 2 weeks after ovulation isn't too early to test, you sound like you have possibly already missed a period, irregular or not.

There is np harm in doing a cheapie now, and if not period turns up still then re-test or go and see your Doctor.

Let us know how it goes.
