I'm Currently Feeling: | Disgusting but I need to ask this I have been having loose black/dark stool for days now. It started with diarrhea of one day, and then it got normal but it was always liquid. It's color is dark gray/black.
I have googled and there are two things I found that it could be from:
1. Blood in stomach.
2. Iron supplement.
I have been taking for a week iron vitamin as my doc adviced.
Could this be causing it?!?!?! Should I worry?! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have read more about it and it seems to be from the iron tablets.
I will call up my doc for this. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Suzan.
It sounds like the old iron tablets getting up to their mischief again. The two negative effects of iron tablets are: constipation and greeny-black stools. Charming!!
If you really are worried, you should phone the doctors but it sounds like the iron tablets to me. Since I have been put on them due to being slightly anaemic, I have had both the constipation and the greeny black stools. The joys!
