I'm renting one of those 3MHz ones. It's actually identical to the one that my doctor uses during appointments!

I thought the heartbeat was easy to find, but I'm probably just lucky. I found it at 8 weeks, and have had no trouble locating it ever since. Of course it's a lot easier and louder now, lol. I love my doppler, it's so reassuring.

If you are going to buy one, invest in the Angelsounds doppler as it is really good and you can hear baby's heartbeat from fairly early on (some of the other brands only work after 20 - 24 weeks). I try not to overuse mine, but it is really reassuring when you have days when baby is quiet.

So is it the first one that you got the £30 one? My mum and sister going to get for me, so want to get the one that will be best.

yeah it was about that price hon, quality seems very good to me* gives a really clear sound at this stage* i looked at the HiBebe that was the most expensive one, im not sure you need to spend that much money as when you start to feel movements i doubt i will use it much then!! but its up to you!! enjoy!!!
