| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Wrexham, North Wales Posts: 155 | I've always suffered from terrible migraines and headaches - paracetamol doesn't do anything for me  . Can't take my usual prescription meds obviously! The doctor has just prescribed me co-codamol. You do have to be careful how much/many paracetamol you take though - 1 or 2 tablets maximum per headache really. If that doesn't help then I would suggest just lying down, relaxing and try sleeping it off if you can. Sometimes a cold compress on your head can help aswell - narrows the blood vessels and cools the body down.Hope this helps - as I said I have had headaches for years, I think I must know every trick in the book! lol  |
