| hey hunnie, I just wanted to offer you my support, kind of in the same boat as you, they found sugar in my waters and are monitoring me more closely, been given so many appointments I fear I may forget to turn up to some, my brain feels so mashed. I'm only 12 weeks, so not too far in front of you, and thinking about it now, there's a lot of symptoms I should have picked up on, like sleeping for 10 hours, waking up and still feeling shattered. But there's not much we can do about the past babes, we just have to look forward to the future, and try our bests. If you want someone to talk to I'm here.
Also, my sister had GB too, and she's the complete opposite of me, perfect body size and perfectly healthy, I think it's just one of them things hun. Anyways, I'm here if you want a chat xXx | | | | Status: Offline

I think it's something to do with the immuno response of the body during pregnancy in as much as it isn't as effecient so that the body doesn't reject the baby as a foreign body. I'm sure someone else will know more than me but I hope it helps. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | This is NOT your fault. Gestational diabetes can happen to any woman, regardless of her weight prior to pregnancy. It's good that your doctors caught it so early and will be monitoring you closely. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | This is not your fault and like the girls have said... Now you know and all you can do is move forward and do your best. Don't beat on yourself it's just one of those things that is completely out of your control.
Hope you're feeling less overwhelmed soon. Take care of yourself. BIG
