i know i have asked similar questions in last few days but now i have just read that if u get pregnant straight after stopping pill you are more likely to have a miscarriage. anyone else heard this? Im really scared now

I've never heard this hun and a lot of girls get pregnant straight after stopping so I wouldn't worry unnecessarily

I know so many people who got pregnant WHILE taking the pill, so don't let it worry you. There's nothing you can do to change the situation, so try not to think about it - all that worry can't be good for you

I've never heard this. The reason that you are told not to try for three months after stopping the pill is so that your cycle can work itself out (it takes some women's cycles a few months to regulate).

I never heard this and Amy became pg first month off the pill. Actually if you read some studies they say a woman is MORE fertile after stopping the pill. I hear about it happening so often. There are other women using the forum who have conceived virtually right after stopping the pill.

It's safe to get pregnant the day after you stop the pill. Once you stop the pill the hormones are gone. There are some women who even get pregnant while on the pill, and there are no studies showing that there is an increased risk to the fetus.

Dont worry me too.........

I fell pregnant in my 2nd cycle off the pill, having been taking it for 18 years non stop!!!

I have just jumped on "google", and there is definitely no evidence to suggest that miscarriage is more likely if you have recently come off the pill, thank goodness!!
