Amy is 7+5 now and her hcg tested at 221,000 on 7+1. They think her dates might be way out cos of her coming off the pil or there are multiples. So they have booked us in for MW booking appt next week. What happens at the appt girls? Do we get to hear baby(s) heart beat(s)?

Maybe .... but its doubtful, most dont try for the heartbeat until around the 16wk appointment.

Dont get too excited, the booking in appt isnt much fun, bloods & urine and lots of form filling in lol

Just wondered what the chances of amy's dates being wrong with the pill are. I thought i was 9 weeks today but i havent seen a midwife yet, and ive been worrying as i fell pregnant straight after coming off pill. Could i be further gone or not so far?

I thought I was 11weeks and I was only 9! I conceived on the pill though so idk if thats why.

You wont hear babies heartbeat b/c it's too tiny (way less than an inch!). They'll ask you questions about both your families medical history and lifestyle and book you in for your next appointment and give you leaflets and answer any qs you have.

My booking in isn't until July 10th =(

Yep. Dull stuff I'm afraid. I had mine yesterday @ 10+1 and she wouldn't even try for a HB Wah!
