I know this has been asked before but...

I have terrible period like cramps and I don't like it because it worries me. Everytime I go to the loo... I am expecting to see red or pink or brown because it feels that similar.

I know people have said that they get cramps throughout their pregnancy... but are they really this much like period pains?

Mine felt really like period pains. On several occasions I was sure I was going to miscarry but I assure you it's normal. Even if you did have some discharge too it still wouldn't deffinatly mean a miscarrage.

I get those on and off too. It's not painful and I've been reassured that it's only my bits and pieces inside doing their thing to make room for the baby to grow!

It's difficult not to worry but I think it's normal. I've had them on and off all along, but one day (around week 6 I think) it was so bad I was doubled over and feeling so miserable. Was sure I was going to miscarry, but it stopped and there was no bleeding. I think they say cramps are ok and bleeding is ok - it's just when they happen together that it's not.

Hey, i have been getting them too, spoke to the midwife yest and she says they are normal and only if they are very painful that you can hardly stand or there is any blood should you call the hospital. I know how you feel a keep thinking i will see blood everytime i go to the loo. Its so annoying that pregnancy symptoms are like period symptoms, isnt it! xxx
