Well after the surgery receptionist last week said you dont need a doctors appointment abd that you just wait for a midwife appointment at 10-13 weeks I rebelled and booked a doctors appointment for this morning andIm glad I did, the doctor didnt do alot but I feel happier that it is at least logged onto the computer system, he asked if it was happy news when i said it was he said congratulations, he worked out my due date to be 7th Feb, my working out is the 6th so very close, he told me to book a midwife appointment on the way out which I tried to do but have to ring up next week, he suggested to get an appointment for when Im 9/10 weeks, he also gave me a form and told me to book my own 1st scan which I have done, Im excited, its booked for 30th July (Inned to get a ticker to countdown), he also said that when I see my midwife I can choose which hospital I want to deliver at and take bloods etc so all in all Im glad that I went, it feels slightly more real now and i dont feel so much in limbo if that makes sense
