panicking AGAIN!

Hi everyone, well you know me im like a paranoid wreck!!!

I will be 12 weeks saturday according to doctors dates but according to early scan im just over 11 weeks and will be 12 weeks next wednesday.

I feel like my pelvis is bruised? do you think this is due to stretching, also is it too early for my uterus to be moving upwards, i feel like just above my pubic bone is bruised too with a slight raised area just above it, i havent had any cramping just the normal pains the doctor said was stretching but im not sure when my body should be doing what so just a bit freaked out when to expect different things.

Please help everyone who can

Thanks for taking the time to read

Lou

Hi Lollylou, it's not too early for your uterus to be rising, it's about the right time. By 13 weeks or so the MW should be able to feel your uterus 3 fingers above your pelvis. A few of have recently been having weird pains around 11 weeks. There are some threads but I can't remember what they're called, sorry! But don't worry. I had about 3 or 4 really quite sore and uncomfortable days soon after 11 weeks. I think it's a growth spurt! Plus loads of my symptoms changed at the same time - it's about the time the placenta takes over so I think it's a dynamic time. don't panic unless it becomes unbearable in which case call your MW.

I've had odd pains too and am 11 weeks today. Also I keep thinking that my uterus is rising but I can't be sure, sometimes it is hard and sometimes not. It is quite confusing.
I know that several weeks ago if I laid flat on my back and pulled my tummy in, I could see and feel my pubic bone really clearly, but now the 'mound' bit seems to come up a bit higher.

Hey Lou.

There's just so much going on in there at the moment it's hardly suprising it feels a bit odd. Your uterus is on the move and so is your LO and we all of us are guilty of trying to just carry on as normal.

Feeling a bit battered and bruised is fairly par for the course at your stage and it's just the beginning of your journey.

BTW Shri I LOVE your avatar it's beautiful!

Thank you

Your posts had made me feel slightly better about things.

I feel like all i do is worry but until i have my 12 weeks scan and know everything is going well i dont think i can settle.

Thanks again
Lou
