I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww poor Elm. Don't be afraid be excited!
I would like to announce that I am feeling fantastic today! No tiredness at all yesterday and now today I just feel great. I'm full of beans, can't remember feeling this energetic and happy for ages! Hopefully this signals the end of the crapy trimester and the beginning of a good one. It just makes me see how rubbish I have been feeling for weeks now, physically and mentally. Sorry to go on about it, I know you aren't all feeling as perky as me, but it's just fantastic.
Hope everyone else will be feeling good soon too. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Elm, I've sent you a post on your Chicken thread - but just to say again congratulations sweetie - I'm so so happy for you!
I need some advice ladies, my best friend at work was ttc at the same time as me and was really upset when I got pregnant before her. I've been so hoping that she'd be here soon, but she went home sick from work earlier in the week and our boss told me today that she'd had an early miscarriage. I feel so sad and upset for her and she wants to talk to me this weekend - what should I say? I'm going to feel so horrible sitting next to her at work and feeling as though I'm just rubbing her nose in it. How can I help her feel better? |

I think that all you can do for your friend is be there for her and listen, tell her how sorry you are for her and how upset but I don't think there's really anything else you can do to make her feel better.
I don't think you'll be rubbing her nose in it - just be discrete about your pregnancy for a bit but don't hide things from her, maybe if you have some news you could tell her first and say that you don't want to rub her nose in it but (for example) you've got a scan on Thursday. If you don't she'll find out anyway and might be hurt that you didn't tell her.
I think that's what I'd do anyway. Maybe someone who has more experience with this sort of thing will be more insightful? Might be worth posting a thread and see what everyone else thinks then you can take all the bits you find helpful and use them. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thank you honey, I spent a couple of hours last night talking to her and we both agreed that the worst thing that could happen after this is that we avoid eachother for fear of upsetting either one of us. So I've assured her that all scan pictures and mentions of Pippin will be gone before she comes back to work and I'm more than happy to keep it that way until she feels more able to deal with it. We're very lucky we work in a really nice place with lots of lovely supportive people so hopefully between us we'll be able to help her get through the next few weeks and in time she'll get a little one of her own again
Have you been busy spreading your good news now that you've seen your little Chicken? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Glad you've sorted things with her LuluBee, it's good that you can both talk to each other x
We went and told our parents yeseterday, everyone was happy and lovely which was nice. My mum got all emotional.
Think it was only really my dad and sister that were surprised by the news though - my mum said she'd thought I was when I saw her in the week... Don't know why!
