Symptoms?

Hi! I got my BFP on Mother's day. I am not quite 6 weeks. I really have no symptoms and it's making me so nervous! My nipples are still really sensitive but not my breasts. I had quite a bit of cramping up until today. I'm really not bloated and only somewhat tired. I do notice more blue veins in my breasts but nothing major. I am getting dizzy spells, mostly in the morning. But no nausea, no real breast pain, no extreme tiredness.....is this normal? It's making me so worried that I will/have miscarried. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow but I doubt I'll get an early ultrasound (I live in Canada and they seem to be very stingy about ultrasounds.) Plus this will be my first appt with the doc since getting the BFP and I think he's going to refer me to an OB/GYN since he is just a regular GP.
Am I the only one with very little symptoms? Should be I be really concerned?

Hi! Another BC girl! WooHoo!

I'm in a similar situation. I'm 5+1. I don't have many symptoms either. Occasionally achy breasts with shooting pains. Shooting pains in the uterus area. Permanently hard nipples. The only really consistant symptom is that I'm peeing all the time.
From what I've read morning sickness often doesn't kick in until 6 weeks.
I don't think you have anything to worry about - if you have no symptoms I would just consider yourself lucky! I've also got the first doc's appt tomorrow so I guess we can see what she says!
I think that in Canada you get your first ultrasound around 12 weeks. Not sure though.
Good luck!

you don't have to be concerned about lack of symptoms, hunny! I was too at first, honestly i think it's hard not to! But i learned that everyone is different and it'll come at its own pace. I did get nausea started up and Lord help me although it is something i was hoping for, i am now dreading it!!! My bbs are totally fine, i joke and say i can probably punch them and not feel a thing! So everyone and everything is different.

Count yourself lucky right now for not feeling sick and such! enjoy the feeling while it lasts! I hope your doctor appt. goes swell! I wont have my first appt. for atleast another week or two (not even scheduled yet as they are still referring me to an OB!). Just keep thinking positive and pray everything is smooth sailing!!

It's still pretty early and a lot of women don't get symptoms until much later (some don't get any symptoms in the first trimester!)

I didn't start with morning sickness unil about 7 weeks and even then it wasn't every day and I only felt sick and never was actually sick. I had quite a bit of cramping early on which is normal. Had the dizziness to but apart from that just felt really tired. Remember everyone is different and lack of symptoms doesn't mean anything is wrong it just means you're lucky. I'm sure everything is fine. Have a happy pregnancy. xxx

Everything you're describing to me sounds very normal. I had loads of cramping earlier on (and still do from time to time, though lately it's more often round ligament pains than uterus growing pains), dizziness, etc... The day I started week six I started my morning sickness, though this will vary from person to person, some women never getting sick at all!

There is a huge range of what is 'normal' in pregnancy, and nothing you're describing sounds like a real "warning" sign to me, or a sign that something's wrong. Just try to relax -- if you can, that is, 'cause I know it's super hard.
