I'm Currently Feeling:

Licquorice

I think i'm addicted to Licquorice. I can't get enough of Licquorice Catherine wheels. Tuesday night i really fancied some and i haven't stopped eating them since. Now i read that it can cause uterine contractions.
Now i'm panicking.
Any one got any thoughts?
Thanks

I think they mean it can start labour (sort of like curry supposedly does!). I wouldn't worry about that.

Is it red licorice or black? I know when my mom was pregnant with me she used to get in licorice fits and end up in the emergency room, but it was black licorice and I'm not sure what that was all about. When she ate red it was fine.

Black licquorice i'm afraid. To honest now i've read that it can be a problem don't really fancy it so much now. Just worried that i have gone over board with it the last couple of days.

I've never heard of it causing problems. One of my hubby's family members has been eating black licorice nonstop in her pregnancy (she's a week and a half ahead of me). She actually eats it to help with her constipation.
