Ooooh im sooo excited. I know what to expect all the boring paperwork etc what i dont know is if they try find a heartbeat should they be able to find it?! im nearly 9wk.

I hope you like your midwife when you meet her. It all starts to seem more real once you start seeing medical staff.
I saw mine yesterday and i was 9+2 she didn't even try and find one.
I read that they don't like to try because a lot of the time they can't this early and it just stresses us Mum's to be out even more

I'm Currently Feeling: 



when i suffered a m/c last time the midwife tried to find a heartbeat (i was about 7-8wk wen i went to see the midwife) and she couldn't find anything. she sent me away telling me it was totally normal and i just had to wait for my scan date to come through, unfortunatly i never reached that stage. I really panic sometimes that the same is going to happen but then others im just like nah it wont happen to me again, its one hell of a rollercoaster ride this pregnancy lark hehe

I first saw my midwife at 12 weeks and she didn't even try to find mine then but they tend not to here so not to dissapoint if they can't for any reason, hope your appointment goes well x

Good luck with your appointment! They usually don't try to find a heart before 16 weeks (it can be very hard to find before than)
