Spotting..... :-(

Hey ladies - as many of you know my 1st OB appointment was yesterday and she did an internal exam as well as my yearly pap. She told me I may have some spotting for a little while after the exam - which I did. It stopped after about 2 hours. I've had no spotting for the rest of the day yesterday and none today until just now.... I just went to pee and has pink spotting when I wiped This is just from my pap yesterday, right?? This is the first time I've had spotting and it just worries me a little.... Especially since it started, stopped, then started back...

are you cramping? if not, i think you should be alright? Still, must be a scare i think it may just be from the exam yesterday. Hope it clears up for you soon. take care.

I hope the spotting has stopped and you didn't have any cramps. If it hasn't best thing to do is speak to your OB so your mind can be put at rest. My fingers are crossed for you.

It probably is just from your exam yesterday. The cervix can be quite sensitive during pregnancy. I saw my midwife yesterday and she asked whether i had any bleeding i told her about the spotting. When i looked back at my notes after she left she had circled no next to the "has there been any bleeding". So i'm sure it's fine. If it doesn't stop after a couple of days or turns red or you are in pain then you might want to call you OB but otherwise i think it is linked to yesterday.

I think the pink spotting is ok, I had it from week 4-6 off and on, just light pink spotting, never a lot, but a little smear on the tissue when I wiped

I am sure it is not much to worry over...as she did tell you that you could be spotting. For some spotting can last a few days...So long as your not cramping badly I would not worry about it. If it is worth it to you, call your doc just to be on the safe side
