Question

How much soda?

How much soda do you all drink on average?

I've swapped my diet coke with regular sprite b/c I hear the aspartme and caffeine isn't good for baby but I still drink like a litre or more daily.

I don't drink much at all, but i did have some last night for the first time in a week or two, it really soothed my stomach.

they recommend not to have *too* much caffeine. i am a bit guilty sometimes though, i am having a coffee right now *yikes* just could not resist a french vanilla cappucino this morning...

oh ya, a friend of mine who has a healthy bouncing 11 month old, LIVED by coca cola during her pregnancy, she drank it like water!!!!

I've still been drinking fizzy pop, and my regular daily cups of tea/coffee.

Over christmas I was drinking 8 cans of coke a day.. I had no idea why I just wanted it all the time. I stopped when I realised how bad it was.

A litre a day seems like quite a lot to me........but I stopped drinking sodas completely in first tri because of the morning sickness, even kicked my caffeine habit for a few months....I'm now back to one a day though

Yeah I should probably try and cut down don't want to rot my teeth. It seems the only thing that quenches my thirst!

The other problem with caffeine is that it passes right onto the baby, it doesn't get filtered out. I do understand how hard it is to give it up though

I only drink like, half a glass of pepsi or pop a week, if that. Thanks to the stomach I've developed, I can't drink anything with caffeine in it without getting sick! I still have the occasional hot chocolate though, it's just so good! I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that drinking alot of pop increases hyperactivity and anxiousness in children/babies.
