From what I've read a bit of caffeine is OK. . . I've read somethings that say 2 cups max and others that say up to 6 CUPS (of coffee)! Not sure about the aspartame though. I've heard that there's never been any studies done so no one really knows the effects. That said, I still really enjoy the occasional Diet Coke. You can't drink water only. . . I would go crazy!

Avoid the diet cokes girls, the sweetener used in those isn't safe!

I heard that too but I did a Google search and there isn't any reasoning as to why? The FDA deemed it safe for use during pregnancy and lactation.

yea, i drink a lot of pop, caffine can lead to misscarriage and a low birth weight i heard, and yea not heard any hard proof on the sweetner debate. I drink far too much pop but plain water makes me feel sick. I tried volvic touch of fruit but did you know that that has 51% of the RDA of suger in it like OMG in a 50 cl of what i thought was water!!! they do do a suger free version which i think is far nicer. I used to drink a lot od sprite but now all lemonade makes me feel ill, sprite 7up schweeps you name it ... it make me visit my good ol' toilet friend. looks like im doomed to my caffine free coke and fruit shoots.
