Finally Met Midwife

As the title suggest i finally met my Midwife today. She cancelled on me yesterday at the last minute.
She is really nice and we went through a load of paperwork and answered questions on family medical history. She said that due to my age(29) and the history i am not at high risk of congenital problems, which is good
She also took my blood pressure which was fine.
One thing i didin't like is that she told me that they do the first scan between 12-14 weeks. I was expecting it to defientely be 12 weeks, now it might be longer

if your in the UK u should normally get your first midwife appt between 8-12wk and then your dating scan between 12-14 week. that is what the doc told me as i asked for a early scan, he more or less told me to shove that idea !!

Glad to hear your appointment went well and you like your midwife, sorry that you might have to wait longer for a scan

Glad to hear that your appointment went well! Feeling comfortable with your midwife is important during your pregnancy and then later for your delivery.
