Depression during pregnancy

Does anyone else feel like they aren't as happy as they should be about this pregnancy? I feel like my moods are SO out of wack that I just don't even know how to be happy anymore. I keep reading about mood swings and how pregnant women are happy one second and bitchy the next. But I'm NEVER happy, I'm constantly bursting into tears for no reason, and I'm always in a bad mood. So it fluctuates from super bad mood to water works within about 5 seconds. Its honestly the biggest chore to just get out of bed and function properly.

I know I haven't got the ideal situation right now, but I do feel like I have absolutely no control over my horomones and the way they're affecting my life. They're affecting my relationship, my baby, my school, and even my relationship with my parents. I seriously feel like there is absolutely no way that I'm ever going to be able to feel happy any time soon, and most certainly not over this baby. I'm just concerned that this isn't normal.

Has anyone else dealt with this in a previous pregnancy or is dealing with it now?

I thought I would be happier. Some things really get me down. Things that never did before. My partner and family dont seem to understand either, they just say it's hormones, obviously sometimes it is. but not always. that just makes me feel worse.

There is a condition called antenatal depression that is recognised. I would go and have a chat with your doctor/midwife and see what they can do for you. I hope you feel better soon xxx

I'm going to talk to my dr about it. Both my mother and Adam have talked and they want me to talk to a doctor because apparently I'm insane or something haha. I had a hard time with hormones before I got pregnant but now it is just absolutely uncontrollable. Before we found out I was pregnant my mom actually talked about going to the doctor to see if I can get something to stablize my mood before/during my period because I'm wicked haha.

Now, if the receptionist at the dr's office would only answer her f*ing phone instead of taking it off the hook!!! I'm having a rage moment haha.
