worried about bean

Well on Saturday night we went out with our friend and his wife. After eating dinner my friend was driving and hit a speed bump really hard and DH and I went flying in the back seat. I went up in the air and landed kinda hard on the seat. I worry off/on that this could have affected my LO. I have no bad cramping or spotting...and my usual symptoms are still normal. ???

I don't think it will have, it is "well cushioned" in there from what I keep reading... but if you're worried just mention it to the m/w.

If you don't have any cramping or bleeding then everything should be ok. xxx

As my symptoms are minimal I keep forgetting im pregnant! I actually ordered a glass of wine on sat night before I remembered! My point is that I probably take speed bumps a little fast and to my knowledge it hasnt caused any harm. Bean is very well padded inside so I would try not to worry

bean should be very well protected in there, especially at this stage. There's so much padding and room in there for them, i am sure your little bean didn't feel a thing! Mummy is protecting him/her very nicely.

Agree with the others, your bean is very well protected, especially in the first trimester

Well I flew because I wasn't wearing my seat belt as we didn't go that far. And he sped up to hit the bump. He just wasn't thinking! My DH hit his head on the car ceiling too. I will never not wear my seat belt again Just got us all worried.
