When I have the first midwife appointment does she keep the pregnancy notes or do I?

My Daughter is nearly 6 so I cant remember! lol x

Mine sent my notes off to the bigger hospital in Leicester (im from Melton Mowbray) as thats where i will have my detailed scan and if i have any complications would go there. They sent them back onto me though once they had looked over them. Not sure if it varies by area??

When I had my son I was given my notes at my booking in appointment and they were with me throughout.

I had to take them along to all appointments etc and then eventually to the birth!

I have my notes, and have for all 3 of my previous pregnancies. You're supposed to keep them with you at all times in later pregnancy, then if you have to go to a different hosi they have your history

I have to keep mine and take it to every appointment to do with the baby!

Yeah i've got my pregnancy record book.
I've been told i have too take it too every appointment i go, scan etc.

I have a huge book they fill in and I keep it but take to every appointment

when I was in UK we had to keep our notes and they got very cross if anyone forgot to bring them with them to any appointment (luckily I always remembered mine)

I keep mine, have to remember to take it to every appointment with me....Not good with my preg head xxx
