Spotting - help (TMI)

I think im about 7 weeks pregnant and since Tuesday 6th i have had brown discharge, I went to my doctors and they were useless just told me to go away and nothing was wrong. By Friday i was still spotting and I had some blood mixed in with the brown. It no where near would fill a pad and I have only had blood twice when I have wiped (the blood doesn't go into my knickers). I went back to the doctors yesterday and saw a really lovely lady who has got me an early pregnancy scan on Monday at 845. She def doesn't think i'm having an eptopic pregnancy but wants to egt me checked out. I woke up last night feeling really sick and I had a very small amount of pink discharge.

I seem to get blood when i have a poo (sorry if TMI) other than that it just brown. I'm really scared has anyone else had this. I'm dreading monday in case they tell me i've lost the baby but then I also want to know whats happening. I've taken another pregnancy test (this is now the 6th!) and i'm still pregnant. I don't have any painjust slight period pains now and then which i have been told is just streching. Help.

Hi hun,
i know its hard but try not to worry to much spotting is quite common in pregnancy and dosent always mean bad news, in one of my previous pregnancys (not this one)i had brown spotting never enough to wear a pad it was only there when i went a loo and only doing big jobs
the midwife told me its due to the straining when u have a poo and nothing to worry about it happened to me at 6 weeks and again at 9.
the scan will hopefully put ur mind to rest, but its good to get checked out!
ill keep everything crossed for u xx

One of my friends had spotting really early on in one of her pregnacy's had it checked out and was fine. You are def doing the right thing in getting checked out as, just leaving it and worrying and stressing wont do you any good. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and, will be thinking of you on Monday.

Thanks for the replies. I have had some dark red blood now which comes and goes, still would not even half cover a pad but looks a lot on the paper.I'm not having any pains. I've got no idea if I'm having a miscarriage or not.

Awhh hun.. i know how hard it is not to worry.

I dont know anything from personal experiences or whatnot, but i do alot of research and i have come across sites which say spotting is very common in early pregnancy and should be nothing to worry about. I always read that it could be a sign of an infection, which can occur more after intercourse.

it shouldnt be anything to worry about hun but it is always good to get it checked out and put your mind at ease. Good luck for the scan and keep us posted.

xxx
