Not sure if this is the right place to post

I hope it is ok here, and if not perhaps someone would kindly move it?

What I wanted to share was - some days, as happy as I am about this pregnancy, most of the time it is just a case of getting through the day. I get such days of sadness - thinking about my previous losses and just feeling a bit overwhelmed. I doubt that I am alone in this, so I thought it might help to share and yet I didn't want to post in the MC and loss section incase talking about a pregnancy is too upsetting for people there who have just had a loss.

Don't want to bring anyone down either. Just didn't know where to go.

I am sure you aren't alone in this, just because you are pregnant now doesn't make the prior losses any easier to deal with

You're not alone hun. I think it's only natural after a loss to be more scared. I keep apologising to my GP and midwife for being neurotic, and my GP actually stopped me and said 'You're not being neurotic, you're a worried mother.' It made me feel a lot better.

Aw sweetie, being pregnant is such a hormonal experience anyway- it seems to drudge up all sorts of fears / insecurities / sadnesses within us all, even things we thought were in our pasts. It's no wonder you're thinking of your tragic loses.

Hopefully the hightened sense of sadness you are experiencing will pass as your hormons come back under control. I'm sure you will never forget what happened in the past, but hopefully this is the start of a wonderful success story for you. Wishing you a happy and healthy 7 or 8 more months

We worry about it too, especially since so many people know (expect most from my work) and it is really early. DH just asked me like 20 mins ago to take another hpt just to be certain...he worries but doesn't want to talk about it to anyone and especially me. He says he has good feelings about our LO but has the occasional thought...I think it is very natural to have those feelings...as when you are preg, your hormones and emotions are just all over the place!! I feel happy, nervous, worried, depressed, excited, blah, mad, sad, overwhelmed, statistised all in the same day I am sure everything will be okay...if something were to happen, you will deal with it then, so try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy now BIG again!
