Hi girls,

If you were using OV sticks, did any of you never quite get a line that was stronger than the control line, but still pretty strong, and took that as you were OVing?

I used CB smiley face digi last cycle and got a smiley face on CD17. It's CD18 for me now but using cheapie OV sticks and since yesterday, have had strong lines but not as strong as control line. Not sure whether to take it that I'm OVing.

Or maybe I'm not gonna OV this month. Or if I do, it'll be ridiculously late.

When i used the cheapies i not once got a line as dark as the control line, obv i was ovulating so i went with the day the line was at its darkest

i used them and got on well with the cheapys

Thanks girls. Reassuring to hear that you never got a stronger line than control line, PP. I must be Oing really. I mean, there were barely any lines then all of a sudden, I get strong lines 2 days in a row from yesterday. Gonna accost the hubby now, he won't know what's hit him ;-) x

I had the cheapie OV sticks and the line got gradually darker over CD11-14. on 14 it was the darkest i had seen it but it was NOT as dark or darker than the control line (pretty much what you are describing) i didn't want to miss my chances and BD'd with pre-seed that night. the next day CD15 the line was LIGHT, the lightest i ever saw it so i was convinced the previous day's line was IT.

Go with your instinct!!! Besides...doesn't hurt to have an extra BD session in anyway

Hey Trix! I def got a negative before and after my positive! The line was dark but not quiet as dark as the control line, but it was a positive! Lots of !!!!
