I didn't know you could get pregnant that quickly after a m/c.

I think the best bet is to ask some of the ladies who have had a m/c and then conceived again, as im not totally sure when you first ovulate after a m/c

I conceived straight after a miscarriage. The docs and the hospital just took the date my miscarriage bleed started as the date of my last period. So far the dates have worked out accurately. Hope that helps.

Some doctors do say that you are more fertile right after a miscarriage.

However, for some, the pregnancy hormones stay in one's body for awhile and can cause positive pregnancy tests.

I truly think a doctor can determine if it's still the hormones or a true pregnancy.

Yes it is possible - but the only way you will know for sure is if you can get an early scan and then you are better of waiting until you would be about 7wks pregnant, as sometimes early pregnancies can't yet be seen on the scan.

It is possible that your positive test was due to hormones still in your system after your mc. Mine took a long time to go down after I had a mc last year, but I did get my period just three weeks after the mc, which must mean I still ovulated - so I think it seems very likely that you ARE pregnant and that you may be very reassurred if you can get an early scan.

Good luck hun, and I am very sorry for your recent loss too. Fingers crossed for you that this is a sticky bean for you!
