Hey guys I'm around 7 weeks pregnant with my first. I've been getting pain in my lower back. it's not stabbing pain or anything, more like a dull ache. I'm thinking that it's just b/c I've been sleeping in a different position at night. I usually sleep on my stomach but it's so uncomfortable with all the bloating I have that I've taken up lying on my side or back.

Also, I have awful hayfever and don't want to take anything for it :'(

Ive been having back pain too ... esp in my lower back. I find that if i sleep the slightest bit funny it'll kill for days!!

Yup, me too!! It's a bugger......try and stay on your front, you get used to it after a while, oterwise i get nechache aswel!

Aw thanks guys everythings so new. I swear I panic if I feel the slightest bit of pain in my stomach region. My ribs were hurting yesterday but I've been told unless I get blood, period like cramps or pain in my groin I shouldn't worry.

Everyone worries!!

Ya. I'm soooo exhausted all the time. I have a nap when I come home from work every day, sleep a few hour, get up and eat then back to bed for the night. It's awesome that I have an excuse to do it now haha.

I get slight backache nearly every morning. I'm not sleeping well at the minute anyway, so all the tossing and turning doesn't help.

Back pain in the 1st tri is totally normal. xxx

Ooh, I've had that backache this ENTIRE pregnancy, and it's even worse now.

Just try to do mini back stretches before you lay down that's what I do..Good luck..
