Because they lack the wisdom and integrity and probably intelligence to know better. It really makes me mad when people foist their opinions onto others this way. My usual retort, if someone says starts spouting their opinion in this manner is 'well that is not the way it is for me!'

Too young, too old, too impoverished, too whatever - the only thing that really matters is that each child that comes into the world is loved and cared for. Everything else is just bunk.

I had my 1st when i was 20, and i was 100% ready. Our son was, and is very much loved, and cared for. Diffeent people are ready to be parents at different times. Good luck to you, i think you are going to be fantastic!!
