period like pains


hellloooo,

Just a quick one, woke up last night with pains in my tummy. Im only about 7wks preg but it felt like period pains, had a few this morning but they have gone now, no bleeding or anything just wondered if it was normal or if i need to see a doc?

i had them and had an early scan - all was ok they were confirmed as strtching pains and they are very common.
if you're worried speak to your doctor.
hope they get better soon xx

Its normal hun. Cramp like pains are common in early pregnancy. You only need be concerned if they get really painful (double you over) or are only on one side, or extend into your shoulder.

good to read that this is normal, I too have period pains all day on and off and feel a bit rough.. hope it ends soon its tiring.
i'm at 5 weeks, its early days..
