Yay glad you getting your doppler. It's amazing listening to the heartbeat! I've got the pink angelsounds you do need gel. I could hear bub's hb from about 8weeks I think. Reading varies between 140 - 160 bpm ish and sounds like a train - lol. I used lots gel and put it sort of just underneath my bellybutton and moved it around slowly, I can hear it so clearly if I put a bit of pressure on a bit. Mine's got a loud speaker but you can also plug headphones in I think. Have fun honey! x x

Yea I saw the thread Mervsmum started, I stayed away from that seller. I didn't get the prenatal listener I got the pink angels sounds doppler.

So it does have a speaker so you don't have to use headphones?

I was able to find my LO's HB at 11 weeks. It was way way way down to the right, in the hair line. Be patient, and don't freak if you can't find it right away. It took me a whole week to finally find the HB, but once I did, I just cried! OH, and yes the gel really helps.
