have an appointment in 2 hours with the OBGYN. my first appointment, but not for good reasons!!

If anyone read my pregnancy journal yesterday, i popped in to say i had a terrible cold. It is AWFUL! I was suffering yesterday with temperature as high as 101 degrees (Fahrenheit). I really don't know what's up but i am desperate for medication or anything that can help. The coughing is making me cramp heavily and my head feels like a balloon.

I really feel terrible for being so sickly so early on in pregnancy i just hope baby bean is alright through all of this.

Awww. I was sick about a week and a half ago and it was horrible. I'm sure the baby is perfectly fine They can deal with a lot, they're pretty safe in there!! I hope your doctor can give you something for it. Someone told me that their ob told them they could take Benelyn DM during pregnancy, but I didn't take any. Run it by your doctor.

Aw hun hope you feel better soon. Sounds rubbish. I had food posioning when i was about 6 weeks and bean was just fine so i wouldnt worry to much even tho i know its hard. xxx

Hope you start feeling better soon and that your appointment goes well. I had Hyperemisis Gravidarium when i was expecting my eldest and was signed off work til the end of my pregnancy due to the sickness being so bad, hope it eases off soon xxx

Hope you feel better soon! It does suck to have a cold, especially while pregnant and you can't take anything. I'm about ready to go see my doctor too!

Hope you feel better Samo. I know a few gals who felt ill with a cold in the first stage of their pregnancies and had happy, healthy, bouncing babies so don't worry.
