thanks ladies, finally home. things went pretty well and i got me some meds that should make me feel better! They also gave me a list of different OTC meds that are ok for pregnancy, for future reference. Also got an appointment scheduled at my base hospital in Delaware (as i'm on vacation and had to go to the base clinic here). The clinic here is so much nicer than the one in Delaware lol boooo!!!

i am off to sleep as feeling quite sickly. I don't know if it's just me not feeling well from the cold, but i feel like morning sickness is starting to kick in what a time to start kicking in!! this nauseous feeling coupled with congestion is NOT FUN!

Glad you got some meds. I had an awful cold but seems to be better now except the cough.

That is horrible. I hope that you feel better soon! When you are preg your immune system is weakened. My throat started feeling stratchy and stuff so I drank some green tea. My DH read in our book that you can have up to 200 mgs of caffeine a day and a 8 oz cup of green tea only has like 30 mgs. Green tea always makes me feel better when I feel a cold coming on. Maybe you could try the same?? Lots of Samo!

That is what the gyn said to me today, Avistar. That because i'm pregnant my senses and immune system are picking up things and allergies could flare up even though they never did before. Blah! Could explain why i'm the only one in the house to have come down with this despite not going any place DH hasn't.

Well ladies, i don't know what is worse right now. being congested like crazy or feeling nauseous after the meds . my tummy is all upset bleehhhh!! hate being sick, can you tell?

Hey! First just wanna say congrats on your ! When I was 4-5 weeks pregnant, I got horrible cold symptoms, I thought I had strep (which I used to get monthly until I had a tonsillectomy). It went on for like a week and a half and then turned into the morning sickness. The cold feeling goes away pretty quickly, at least it did for me. I also had HG and my morning sickness lasted almost until I had my daughter. If you feel really nauseas, I would recommend Zofran, I took it throughout my whole pregnancy, and it helped a lot.
