So, I think I found my baby's heartbeat with the doppler I borrowed from a friend of mine. I was 8+6 when I found it. If you loverly ladies would be so kind as to listen to the vids to compare that would be great. I got a few other people to listen to both and they all agree one heartbeat is definitely faster than the other. One of the vids is of my heartbeat (which I picked up closer to where my right leg is) and the other of the baby's(which I picked up just under where my belly button is above the pubic bone). Mine is the first one, Baby's is the second one.

I heard it! I'm afraid I haven't heard one before - not even my own babies, so I can't claim to be an expert! Sounds fast though!!!

i think that sounds like ur blood pressure, the HB is much faster than that.

Thanks everyone. The friend that leant me the doppler seen the vid on facebook and said it was definitely the heartbeat of the baby. It was much faster than mine. Mine was down around 99/100 and the babys fluctuates between 120-140 the whole video (its not one that tells you the average or whatever) so Im pretty sure it was the baby's anyways. I just listened to the vids again and I still think the second one is faster than the first vid I posted. Thanks for your replies! xo

After a lot of experiementing with my doppler I finally found my LO's heartbeat about where you were describing. (above pubic bone)

The second one does sound very fast, much faster than your own, the swooshing is apparently the placenta which sometimes drowns out the proper beat of the heart, but i think you can hear both.

Thanks Ria Rose!! Im so happy I heard it...its pretty amazing <3 I didnt have to try too hard to find it. I couldnt find it the first day I had the dopper but yesterday I found it right away. I had never heard a babys heartbeat before so I didnt exactly know what I was listening for but I really was convinced the heartbeats I had heard were different so I just had that feeling. I even watched you tube videos to listen to the HBs so I could kind of judge it. It definitely helped. Im glad you found yours too how exciting!!
