hi ya,

no i dont mind at all ask away as much as you like, i went there through a few recomendations and the one of my bosses did a bit of work for the guy that owns the place so he sorted it for me, if you type in google, 3d gender scans birmingham uk, a list should come up, there are quite a few i think but i was so impressed with mums when i had my nuchal scan i went back for my gender scan and mike did the scan...there was a leaflet i had come through the other day about a cheaper place but i cant remember where it was for..ill see if i can find it for you...to book stuff like this just ring them direct, your midwife will go through any places she knows but youll have to book them yoruselves...anything else just pm me if you like

ahh that would be great, i dont mind the price as such, its just 1s ive found are like £150+ an i think thats a little bit expensive, spesh when saving for baby! but thank you i cant believe how impatient being pregnant has made me! i was determined to wait till i was at least 3months till i told everyone, i didnt think i would want to know the sex..haha that all went out the window!

it went really well. The sonographer I had works for the NHS and then does this for Innervision at the weekends - you can tell she loves her job. They were running behind so we went in about 20 mins late. She asked us which package we'd booked and we said the reassurance and gender. So off she went like a regular scan and told us very quickly we are having a girl. She then showed us everything both in regular 2D and 3/4D - the placenta, birth canal etc and every possible angle of our baby. She got some great images and then checked again to make sure she was a she! We then paid an extra tenner for a CD with 15 pics on it. The booking was 15 mins but we were in there over 20 and didnt feel rushed and she was lovely.

I'd recommend them - excellent value for money given some of the prices I've seen.

aww that pic is amazing, how far was you gone aqt this stage? just wondering because on the site it says from 22weeks, but it was sooner than that wasnt it?

That was yesterday - 16+5. If you ask they they will do it earlier as long as you understand the images wont be as good as they would be later on.
I really wanted it for reassurance but I knew a good sonographer could tell the gender as early as 12 weeks.

i agree with u about the NHS scans and also they hold back on telling u! i have a gender private scan booked in for this weds i'm looking forward to it as they take so much time going through everything!

Zoe i'm in the solihull area too! there is a brilliant private place called'mums' right by Morrisons supermarket, i have been twice already and am going again on weds to find out the sex! they are very good there and its def worth the money!! x
