not sure if this is right section to ask about this but here goes! Dating scans - how accurate are they? Wondering as I have never kept track of my cycle got pcos so was all over the place. Thanks, in advance for any answers xxx

They are super duper accurate!!! But they have to be done before 13 weeks as after 13 weeks babies grow at different speeds!!
You dating scan will tell you to the day how many weeks pregnant you are!!
Its very exciting!!!
I was like you periods all over the place after being on the depo for 12 months!!!

They seem pretty accurate. My sisters dating scan moved her dates by 6 days but the m/w left her due date alone.....needless to say baby was born 6 days early.....

the earlie scans are ment to be accurate but as most of mine and this baby has had wrong scan dates i dont think there that right its statistics so if ur baby is smaller even if ur a small person ect they put ya bk and larger babies like i have i get put forward so far mine are 16 days out totally even tho i can guarantee my date of ovulating

Very accurate hun. I was scanned at 21 weeks with my son (I didn't know I was pregnant before that) so they didn't give me a down to the day due date, but said due end oct start november and he came on the 1st of november!!!

They are accurate when done early because the 1st tri is pretty scheduled. Everything kind of happens at a certain time. My OBGYN and my dates are 3 days off one another. I thought my baby is due oct31, she dated it as nov3rd.

So we shall see!!!
