How many weeks were you when you found out the sex of the baby?? I've heard they can tell anywhere from 12 weeks and on. What was your experience??

I was 18 weeks nearly 19!! Im sure its any time from 16 weeks!! I dont know of anyone who got told at first scan!! I take it your eager to know!!!

Definitely eager to know of course!! I was just wondering though - I know it won't be for a good long while, but I was just wanting to know. I've seen a few people who knew at 12 weeks and some not until 20!! Just wondering the average!

i was like you..... was sooooo desperate to know!! I had my first scan at 13 and wasnt told, but was then told at my second scan at 18+5!!

Found out during my 16th week. However, I've seen a few others find out at 12 weeks, but I believe it has to do with the skill of the sonographer and or the equipment.

Also, a 3D scan will show more than a 2D scan.

Went for gender scan at 18 weeks, but didn't know for sure until 22weeks.

I didnt find out till 22 weeks. I work in an outpatient diagnostic center and the US tech's say you really should wait til atleast 20 weeks because, anything before has a high chance of being incorrect. I've also never heard of finding the sex out at 12 weeks, the earliest they said is 15 weeks, but again better to wait. Because with boy baby's thier testies dont drop intill later

my darling baby died at 12 weeks, and they later told me they were pretty sure i was having a girl. i think it just depends...

I will be 20 weeks

i didn't find out with all of mine but when i did i was 20 weeks and imagine it'll be the same this time if we decide to find out x
