hey ladies sorry i have not posted for a while but i had my scan and baby is doing really well. i have now got my 20 week scan booked which is 18th of july. but i was wondering will i have any more check-ups before then or do i have to wait until my 20 weeks scan??

It all depends on what area you are from

In my area i will go to hospital for 12wk and 20wk scan then see the midwife at the clinic at 16wks

Does it not say on your maternity notes that the midwife gave you?

12 week scan 16 week midwife and blood tests and then 20 week scan !

I had a M/w appointment at 6 weeks. A scan at 12 weeks. A M/W appoinment at 16 weeks. My Scan at 20 weeks and then my next M/W appointment is at 22weeks. I think you should have one inbetween scans esp if your having bloods down. I would ring your M/W and check xxx

nope she just wrote me a letter telling me about my 20 week scan and from my other scan i just got some notes on what they saw and my EDD

On the back of my notes that the mw gave me there are a loada boxed and she ticked them all at the weeks id be seeing mw or going to hosp etc

Is there nothing like that in your notes?

nope it just says please give to the midwife on next appointment

I see my doctor once a month until 32 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, then every week until I go into labour.

I only get one scan at 18 weeks, nothing else.

I dont have any other appoinments booked either....i have my 12 weeks scan on 13 may...i had my first m/w appointment on 23 april and she has booked me in to see her when im 20 weeks....!!!! nothing until then!!!

Also, she asked me all the questions in my maternity file/book, took blood and wee but she never felt my belly or asked me if i was ok or anything!!!??

udate: ive just got a letter from my midwife and she has booked me an appointment for me to see her. i had to fill out a booklet about me which i will have to take to my next appointment and then we will go from there
