A little about me I am an army wife who has just moved to Germany. I am 9wks 4dys and yet to see a doc. I had my pregnancy confirmed by the lap in the states. I am currently in a German guest house and I am having issues learning the system of the phone. I haven't been able to cal the doc. I am hoping to see him soon since I am on blood presure meds and they are running out. just felt like venting. Everything is different not bad just different and I just want to hear my little beans heartbeat

Awwww that sounds difficult having to be away in unfamiliar surroundings. I was an Army brat and spent most of my childhood in Germany Hope you get a doc sorted soon.

Hi hun, are you with the British Army? If so, have you heard of the forum Rear Party? Some people on there might be able to give advice in regards to German postings.

My Husband is RAF and currently posted away from me, though we are both in the UK. It's not an easy life!

Are you married into the British Army? If so when you register with your med centre they will sort all this out for you with the local hospital. I lived in Germany with British Army for 4 years and was preg with two of mine out there and I have to say the antenatal care is absolutly amazing!

Best of luck for your posting out there, it is really daunting to start with but once you're settled i'm sure you'll love it! It's a fantastic way of life x

well my Husband is in the US army and we are stationed in Germany. The post we are in is pretty small so we have to find a German doc. I have found one now i just need to get the apt. I am hoping by next week I will have an apt.
