Hips

Has anyone else experienced hip problems. Mine seem to pop out of joint and it becomes quite painful to walk, sit or lay down for too long they also feel really stiff. Any advice appreciated

Hey bubbles. I had quite painful hips around the 7-8 week mark. Ached when i walked. They are still tender to touch at the minute. It's quite normal. I just hope they dont spread too much or i'll end up with a massive wide-load!!!

Hi bubbles, I can definately sympathise with you. My hips are sooo painful right now. I had problems with my hips before I got pregnant "snapping hip syndrome" but the past week or so it's been terrible. I'm seeing muy chiropractor this weekend to sort it (they do everything more gently when pg) perhaps that might help with you? Otherwise it's just changing positions frequently so they don't ache or get to stiff etc... x x

the hormones in your body make your joints looser than normal. try some simple stretches, or spend some time in a pool if you can. It really helps to work your muscles in the areas that are bothering you. I know it is easier said than done. Hopefully, your body will adjust soon.

Thank you ladies. I have docs tonight so i'll see what they say. I'm hoping the nurse is nice and tries to find a heart beat (only general check up not pg related)

I've been having the whole hip soreness too. Was cleaning my room yesterday and heh, had to keep changing positions as my hips were aching quite badly.
