Bump Bands

Has anyone invested in a bump band.

Been looking at various ones on the internet on various maternity wear sites. Some just look like they cover your bump for decency and others seem like they support the bump and help you disguise in the early weeks your bloat!

Any feed back appreciated!

I'm not sure either, but I will be investing in one (or two) very soon!

Maybe you can ask your question in 2nd tri if you don't get many responses.

I have actually made myself a few - I found the instructions here: http://www.planetjune.com/blog/haram...rmer-tutorial/ and made them because I'm tall so sometimes my tops aren't long enough. I think they are a great idea but some shops charge a lot for them. Although I noticed last night on New Look's website they have a pack of three (one white, one black, one grey) for £10 which is a bargain.

I got two from ASDA, one black, one grey and I haven't had to buy a single pair of maternity trousers so far this pregnancy! So it's been a real money saver for me.

Sorry to sound thick but how do they prevent you from having to buy maternity trousers?

i used a (dont laugh) boob tube over my bumb but under my tops if you get me? and sometimes i wore my usual trousers because i managed to do the button up under my bump and then the bump band (boob tube) covered my belly if it poked over lol hard to explain, and plus if you have trouble finding long tops to cover the bottom of your belly then their great but yeah i used cheapy boob tubes xxx

I loved bump bands!! I wore them throughout my pregnancy, they helped make my tops look longer covering my bump and bum lol. Definetly a worthy investment imo x

hi, i posted a similar post about 2 weeks ago and got great replies, went and got 2 from jojo maman bebe and they're fab! they have a button on one side that goes into the hole in trouser waistband and then a 2 holes to put trouser button through. htese buttons'holes are in the iddle of bump band so there's support for bump/bloat then enough material to cover the fact that your trousers are completly undone! top just goes over the top. this is very longwinded explanation but i'm so impressed they're well worth the money. you can also get just bands that are like boob tubes have no direct experience of them but the ones i have are fab! hope this helps x
