Grrrr, stupid appt makers!!

When i saw my midwife the other day she said she'd get me an early scan as i'm unsure of my dates, it should come within the next couple of weeks (that's by tuesday next) and then i could ring her and she would give me my appt for booking in scan.

got my appt letter yesterday, guess when my scan is? 26th April!!!! well i'll either be bang on 12 weeks or I'll be 15 weeks which means anything they check for between 11-13 weeks will be missed!

so now i've got to chase my mw up and get it sorted - why is nothing ever simple??

Hi hun, I wasn't sure of my dates, but that's where the '12wk' scan comes into play. I could be up to 3wks out, but my scan is today and I 'think' I'm 11wks 4days. I was never offered any scans any earlier to check my dates, are you sure she meant earlier than this 12wk one? If so, either give her a ring or ring the hospital where you have your scan and say there's been a mix-up and see if they can give you one earlier. If your midwife wrote it down for you to have an early scan, it will be in the notes the hospital have. x

yes, she said i''d have one within a couple of weeks to determine the date.
i've managed to get thru, hopefully they'll be able to rearrange it!!!
