Paranoid about a missed miscarriage - Page 2

Thank you Satsuma - that is reassuring (and probably better not to be wasting money on pg tests!).

That's what I keep telling myself - it is of course more likely than not it is all absolutely fine, and I could be hit with a truckload of horrible symptoms any day now and I really should enjoy feeling normal for now!

Hope your MS etc doesn't last too long

Your are not alone in these worries, it was my worry of the day the last few days!! I think its a case of where being on the fourm doesnt help because you read all the heartbreaking stories on here and it seems more common then it really is. I have 5 weeks and counting until my scan so i am just going to have to keeping thinking how rare MMCs are and how many healthy babies are born everyday.

Thanks ladies, i don't have many symptoms either, especially ms, i just get more tired, have to pee in the night and sore nipples. I am grateful i don't have ms but it would be reassuring. I guess i just have to wait for my scan and hope for the best. Good luck to everyone else for their scans!

i am so paranoid about this too, I haven't seen heartbeat yet - really want another private scan by hubby doesn't agree. Haven't even got my 12 wk scan booked in yet but I guess i'm 4 weeks away from that yet.

I recommend the early scan to put your mind at ease but then if you only have 4 weeks to wait then you could try to hold out as they are expensive, i got my scan because i had brown discharge. Also it seems everyone on here gets their scans done at 12 weeks but here we get them at 11 weeks, don't know why this is, i will have to check with my midwife but it means less waiting so i'm happy.
