Ok well my problem is this.....
I am now 7 weeks late for my AF! When i was 1 week late i got a hpt and it was a faint + and definatly not an evaporation line. After that the tests came back - including a blood test which showed hcg level of 2.
After all that i carried on and didnt worry about it, well now i have missed my 2nd AF and have put on weight even though i am active(i have a 2 yr old to keep me busy) I am always tired and have an increase in vaginal discharge. What are the chances of a blood test and urine tests being wrong?.. We are not trying for a baby but will be happy when another baby love pops into the world.
Any views on this would be great and very much appreciated.
Thanks Leah x

If its still not here in a week i would go back to the docs and ask to be tested again hun.

How late were you when you went to the docs for the tests?

I was only 1 week late when i had the bloods done. All the signs are there tbh! especially my little round belly!!! I'm not one of these that get my hopes up and prey for it as i know it will happen when the time is right..Just seems odd to get a + and then - . I have never missed 1 AF let alone 2! Thanks for your reply.

I had that with my last pregnancy. I got a couple of positive home tests when I was 4 days late then negative blood tests a few days later. They said it was an early m/c, but it took my body a while to realise that I wasn't pregnant, so I went through a few months of early pg symptoms. They tested my hormones which had the full profile of someone who was pg, but no hcg - so all the homones that the mother produces, just lacked the baby to go with it. At least I had proof it wasn't all in my head Seems the pg switch was turned on but not off again. It took a few months but gradually came right.

I would also another week then go to back and ask them to test again. If it's negative ask for a hormone profile test to be done.

again, it could be a missed m/c but my mum had 10 weeks of negative HPTs and blood work, at 12 weeks they gave her a scan to find out why her AF hasn't showed, and they found me inside her belly!

Hi again, well i went to the Dr's today and she seems as confused as me! Last night i got a cheap hpt (double pack) and to my surprise another faint + and then this morning another neg ...i showed these to my Dr and she sent me for a HCG blood test and i should get the results tomorrow. I honestly am so confused as surely its not right to get such mixed results! She is checking my thyroid and other bits but she said nothing can really explain the + test if it turns out that i am not pregnant.
